Stayed 2 nights for personal travel, room was comfortable and quiet location. Great communication with Sam when making my reservation. Arrived and was greeted by Stockton, who goes above and beyond to ensure guest are comfortable and have what they need. Thank you to the owners and staff of the Courtland Inn .
I was coming to Franklin Virginia for work and all the motels in Franklin wanted to charge more for their rooms. I was recommended by a coworker that the Courtland Inn was a Nice Motel and the Management was very easy to deal with. Even with all the updates and renovations they were doing to the rooms when I arrived they were very friendly and respectable. I travel for work and I frequently stay at motels all over the USA. I wish all the motels I stay at had the same type of management as the Courtland Inn. New Owners are Awesome to deal with.
Friendly and courteous owner. Clean, up-to-date room. Only complaint, no drink machine, or dryer. Convenient location. 2 convenient stores within a half of a mile. For price. Best around.

This place is old, dated, worn, insert your adjective here. But it is CLEAN, very clean. It’s a small 30 room motel and the owners clean each room every day. Fresh sheets and linen. It is definitely no frills but as a contract worker I can stay places for months at a time and if I have to come back to the Franklin/Courtland VA area again for work I will stay here. Even the parking lot is picked up on a daily basis.
I have had a very unusual experience at a motel that doubled my expectations the management was unbelievable and my stay at this hotel was just incredible I can't say nothing else but anyone that comes in The courtland Virginia area don't miss this day the opportunity to stay with the Cortland inn.
First time experience the owners was very respectful and nice and very Cordial I have heard bad reviews but I couldn't see anything wrong while I was there stayed there 2 1/2 weeks rooms was clean and freshly painted close to a few stores and if you get bored the owners own a local bowling alley with a restaurant inside and beer I had to check out a 1/2 a week early and got a refund back on nights I did t stay due to work they had no problem refunding me. Maid service outstanding
Very nice customer service. They were able to work with me and my wife while we were stuck due to car issues. The room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thank you staff for your kindness!
